Any religion that condemns people to go to hell for not having their beliefs is a cult. Any religion that would condemn people for their choice to be gay is a cult. Being sexist putting males over females is not okay. The concept of sin is stupid. The bible is outdated and full of fairy tale miracles and abusive stories of rape, slavery, and murder. You call this book of writings the ‘Word of God...’ - Really people??? Let’s just not put a definition on God upfront, there’s too much bs to factor with everything.
Not all people with different practices are better or worse, whether a religion person or not the differences of people ranging from classified definitions of ‘poor’ to ‘rich’ and everything in between; they all alike manage their day and responsibilities within the requirements of the demand of their day for the most part. How about we just let people be, leave each other alone correctly and if we want a little extra gripe towards religion in general and towards it’s extra ‘unwarranted expectations,’ then lets not worry about it, it’s best to not even start an offensive conversation in the first place but if I want to gripe then that’s my prerogative says the growing trend of people these days!
We can all agree religions have some useful truths associated to them, it’s good to remember a few extra details here and there and they had to of been originated and publicated in one form or another like anything else which we can give recognition to like any other developed practice but taking them for anything more is the new way of being an extremist. Any sort of belief assumption in the spiritual realm of conversation that damns people to a lessor existence (belief expectation one way or the other) is too extreme of an outlook says the growing trend of people these days!
Our society would be so less divided if religion would just go away completely. I don't judge the Christian, I just judge the mental brainwashing disease they are dealing with that irks me. If you choose to live your life based off the Christian fairy tale myth, you will likely rub me the wrong way a decent chunk of the time, but that's your choice which I can handle. Just don't push your agenda on me! The griping continues..
I don't feel like I can be myself around a Christian and I can only be in with so many people in my life. How is it I have to feel guilty (Christian acceptance underlining clause of servanthood) for things I shouldn't have to feel guilty about?! Christians are one of the most judgmental of any types of person if we're talking on a wide scale basis – they aren’t in with the times or if they are it’s all too counter intuitive! You can keep praying to your God, while I keep watching all the unfair suffering and evil taking place in this world while your God sits back and allows it all to happen, now let me be!
You say "Believe in God and Jesus" while I will simply look back at you and say "No Thank You."

These generalizations and views are a few of many perceptions that are growing and have been growing in our society for years now. Though church numbers are declining based on the real statistical evaluation of pertaining details contributing to the commitment follow through in the belief itself (metrics of evaluation), the younger generations being not as involved or required to be so as in years of the past are developing larger cravings to eradicate it’s expectancies (teenage tendency with less odds of coming back to the faith in later years); we are seeing a falling away of the faith even while church numbers increase.
Though as a disclaimer that isn’t always the case in certain areas where churches do well to be leaders in the community. I personally am more for people being able to take on extra thought, read into other people’s needs correctly with where they are at or plan to stay, preferring those with an optimistic inclination to converse in regards to ‘spiritual realm discussion,’ because I’m aware religion can create the wrong eye just as much as people straying off not associating correctly in respect to others. I’m still pro church as I’d be judgeful not to, it provides good conditioning and extra focus from the world’s affairs, plus the common association with others who share the same knowledge on the material is a useful connection of shared value.
If you're someone who holds these viewpoints for justifiable reasons given the circumstances of your life from the negative things you have seen and been exposed to regarding religion and the Christian beliefs of some, there is more to the question about God and faith than saying "I don't know and would rather not waste my time and life searching for this vain answer." Most answers don't come easy, don't give up just yet!
