HOW DO I BELIEVE RIGHT? Belief. Faith. Integrity.
Keep it real, without being overcome. We are to be obedient by word and deed, aware of the light burden of Christ where we must keep an extra self-accountability code of adherence. Know the golden rule 'do on to others as you would have them do to you' (factoring in their honest viewpoint) and make sure not to get sneaky and think sophisticated on how to take with greed or exact every penny in all circumstantial situations. We face spiritual harm in each other when the line of hypocrisy is crossed. You get something stolen from you, you face extra unnecessary spiritual thoughts remembering and planning out afterwards. You don’t steal from others, yet they pay no attention to the inconvenience of others, even if they find roundabout ways to justify the decision they may or may not have put any thought into in the first place. You push a sore spot in another and hide your secrets perfectly with no measure but your victory at hand, then you are not keeping the extra self-accountability of the gospel.
God doesn’t give you any boasting rights if you swindle people, especially for minimal gains whether time or money or spiritual satisfaction. We are to keep our eye on the prize of eternal salvation, so that things of the present age are dwarfed by the unsurpassed knowing of eternity and all that this gift of life truly means. If you want to follow the lawyering of the bible, you need to remember you're supposed to give your cloak AND tunic, give without interest to anyone who asks on a true enough matter, and defend the poor and needy before justifying your wealth! The bible teaches us to take the right approaches, to not let the anger of man change our execution of mind and deed. It goes as far as to say at times of turmoil, ‘why not be defrauded and suffer wrong, rather than to always respond by partaking in petty shrewd flesh practices, rather hold strong that you may bare the name and represent the strength you have in the Lord.’
First off, it’s important to remember the sovereignty of a God who tests us, knowing He created rules within creation where all things have a process of time and maturation. I believe part of the test of this life, is learning to gauge others and to naturally take on the steward or servant role because to only need for one’s self doesn’t really change the measure of satisfaction. Sure, getting ousted regularly can lead to a cold heart or mindset, but how else are you satisfying the light burden of Christ in a unique set apart way that the bible turns language of it into a form of integrity? You may be conditioning yourself to take on more in life, by merely not fighting in civilian pursuits. To some degree, even if it feels like it may turn you into a dweeb in the eyes of others, you are required to embrace positive interaction and learn the eye of your neighbor while keeping the right mindset, so you are adhering and offering a continual helping hand. If you learn to think in a way to get out of situations, you’re not lending your cloak and your tunic is ‘stored with treasures on earth rather than heaven,’ metaphorically speaking.
You need not a heart of stone but of warmth when dealing with the situations of this world. Crooked and twisted practices will remain all the way to the end. I fail on this myself, allowing lawless speculation when things don’t work out right and I’m going through inconvenience (triggered by myself or a lack in others), but if there is one thing I make sure to do, it’s not let short sided love of money win in my life (especially given Revelations and the Mark of the Beast within the final vision fulfillment objectives.) If you don't embrace humanity and others with a warmth and willful lending of an extra hand, you'll end up less keen on satisfying the full yoke of Christ, which gives freedom to all people who believe in Christ.
Matthew 11:30 - "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
So what does this verse mean? What is a yoke and what does ‘light burden’ mean? A yoke is something that connects two animals working together for plowing in a field. Jesus is saying when you yoke yourself to me and my teachings, you walk together in your life with me (in the name of Jesus aspect) in that you will follow the rules and statues (to the best of your ability knowing where your line is) which is a light burden to do because you still get money, food, sex and family, etc. It's not about all these heavy expectations that you may feel you are obligated to do; rather you have to learn to meditate reflect and report to the knowledge of God over us. People butcher others over time because of tendency to warp self-allowances based on life factors that neglect the full measure of time and expectation.
Remember, like a giving dad wants his kid to take over the family business name, so God decided in "putting everything in subjection under his feet..." for His Son Jesus ‘God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior’ so we must look through him to see our self-accountability code of adherence. This ‘author of faith’ Jesus, learned things in advance - before the foundation of the world - prior to being manifest in the flesh to witness the approaches and mindsets of the Christian faith.
Luke 9:23 “...If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
Sustained progress or maintenance matters in our daily battles to maintain our mind, tongue, interaction and representation of ourselves. To deny oneself, is to not just take a common reactive human approach where we think we can wish on a whim to always accommodate ourselves. To not choose rivalry, to refrain from malice, to be stronger than ill thoughts that could keep circling in our minds, to not skip out of the right commitments is this aspect of deny a decision in service to God by baring the cross. It turns out the extra denial sacrifice doesn’t really hurt the mood or mindset, but rather allows you to have better security within your soul.
Rewards in heaven matter with each approach you take to heart, not all people can win in every area but nevertheless we are measured by the entire rulebook code. Things we do right now in this temporary life are bound forever at the level you learned, though it will likely get even since it's about giving and partiality fairness. We are being conditioned and earning things right now, we are especially graded on belief in ourselves and others. God doesn’t want Jesus to descend from the clouds and have people yawn because they dimmed their optimism by only choosing pessimistic outlooks and approaches, He wants people to cheer with the angels over the one lost sheep because they believed it was worth the inconvenience to find that lost sheep, regardless if it was on a sabbath.
So if you can't give up crude humor but you look people in the eyes right, I think you'll be okay if you understand the necessity to connect the dots right for yourself and others. Your lost reward for not fully denying your human tendency on this matter may be covered by the love you share with others at the proper level. The entire law can be classified under the first two commandment umbrella, where ‘love covers a multitude of sins.’ If you don't choose to connect the dots (weighing hypocrisy), that's being a bit risky to the expectation; are you then representing the belief you stand for? Scoffing and mocking is also a big risk as it hinders belief meditation. Eventually, we have to see outside our friend circles or mainstream safety nets, and decide what we need within ourselves on these matters.
Learning humor right, controlling your mind and tongue, and always giving the respect follow through to others as a form of sharing is a better winning combination, given you now have extra assurance in the admittance of heavens entry.
PARABLE OF THE LOST SHEEP - LUKE 15:1-7
But how’s it fair that other people can be called prudes for doing it the most correct and get less cheering for doing things more methodically correct? God accommodates time and gives the needed final knowing’s in each person based on His creation within them, satisfying us according to the full plumb line evaluation of all things so that when we receive our rewards we fulfilled our role and life missions correctly. Sometimes if you come late to the party it works out as good or better for you because you already had the Holy Spirit working in your life - turns out you had good virtue after all and that counted. Part of the final vision is incorporating the Roman Olive Tree analogy into the final evangelical effort to the end of the earth. The grafted on vine, whether already born again or the isolated scenarios of people coming to faith still ahead, can especially take to heart these passages referenced below.
(Parable of the Vineyard) Matthew 20:1-16 (sometimes you can show up late and get paid the same)
(Parable of Wedding Feast) Matthew 22:1-14
(Parable of the Night Manager) Matthew 24:36-51 (don’t forget the header picture ‘sackcloth’ reference either)
Whether you enter the ‘KoG’ on earth or not, is a factor of evaluation to always consider. It isn’t easy to always bare the name and be involved or competitive as much as we would always like in a money-stricken world that we keep up with or fall behind to. It isn’t always easy to deny extra reciprocation with others who gloat in the luxury of fortune, or to deny a safe upfront approach where it’s always okay to magnify money and possessions as it highlights your providence and extension to others (amongst other positive aspects of wealth accrual). We can settle on lazy thoughts ‘not associating to Jesus and John the Baptist who wouldn’t dare walk around in kings clothing,’ as we protect with excessive personal satisfaction the obtaining of our shiny metal object collections, but to be a member within the ‘Kingdom of God’ on earth, we must remember nothing is impossible for God who can always warp your mind back into its predestined shape. The passage from Mark 10:25 where it says it may be harder to for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God, means the power of money surpasses mankind’s ability in many cases to deny the easier handout (even if it’s through hard work). Regardless, can you sell your way back into the top heaven reward earning discussion? I would assume so.
Don’t boast, count others in humility better than you (they could be a spy or have an extra cherished outlook); but yes maybe just maybe you've already earned more than you realize – regardless of the infractions sins cause on the give and take evaluation of judgement in how we are compared to the other saints competing for God’s heart through the conditioning of ourselves to love and embrace everyone the right way. God has respect for shrewdness and told his sometimes naïve, sometimes great disciples, 'think as smart as a serpent but be gentle as a dove.’ Some of the bible characters were people who made really bad errors or life decisions and God still used and accepted them! It’s hard to beat the bible at making it the most fair for the most wide ranging people types, all allowed and restricted in similar fashion as imperfect beings attempting to satisfy requirements implemented by the God who can never make an error, if He so chooses.
So where do we go from here on "yoking" yourself to Jesus in your life? What are these statutes and commandments and rules I'm suppose to follow now? Well like I mentioned earlier, nothing happens overnight if you’re a bit ornery right now. So ye must start’th with thy FUNDAMENTALS. What are these fundamentals that you need to start off with? Well for one, now that we are all on a clean slate with each other moving forward with the 10 year prophecy test in our midst, I’ll throw this verse at you that requires reflection.
Two Greatest Commandments – Matthew 22:35-40
NOTE: Practicing FUNDAMENTALS gets you to your comfortable knowledge spot that you can rely on. Getting over resentment of the gospel and with others makes the learning curve go more quickly since God will reward your conscious eventually. When it's a doable concept that has tangible inner rewards - despite some extra undesired controversy as part of your development - you're living right enough in an unstable world with the highest probability of eternal assurance, given it's the biggest book out there in mankind's history that preaches love. It's worth it in a world with almost 8 billion to commit to it.
